Big Brother 11 housemates wear golf fashion items usually seen on a golf course as part of a challenge.

Contestants on this years' US version of TV show Big Brother have donned items of golf clothing as part of one of the task's which the housemates are regularly set.

According to WorldGolf.com, contestants on the show were seen wearing different items of golf fashion, including golf trousers and golf shirts.

While wearing their golf clothing, the housemates had to play mini golf against each other with the player who went on to win the tournament crowned head of the Big Brother household.

The winner also scooped a number of other prizes, the website said.

The source noted that the golf apparel seen on the show was brightly coloured and patterned, which could have raised eyebrows on a golf course outside of the Big Brother compound.

When playing golf in a course in the outside world, Big Brother contestants may find that their brightly coloured golf clothing is not suitable for some clubs.

A number of golf clubs still insist on players wearing collared golf shirts when they take to the course.
