Hollywood actor Bill Murray has revealed that he loves to spend his time off donning golf apparel and hitting the course for a round or two.

A-list actor Bill Murray loves nothing more than to don his golf clothing and tee off in his time away from the studio, he has revealed.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he stated that he likes to spend his free time playing pro-celebrity events, boasting an impressive handicap of 7 to 8.

"When you go to these tournaments they give you more shots because you are playing a harder course than normal. They assume you are going to be messing around. Which, most of the time, I am…," he commented.

And he added that he could regularly be seen in his golf apparel as a youngster growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, as he used to be a caddy.

Murray has starred in such screen hits as Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation and Groundhog Day.

Another celebrity who can often be found in golf clothing is rockstar Alice Cooper, who recently competed in the Bob Hope Classic Pro-am tournament.
