Britons could be in need of investing in suitable golf apparel after a company suggested golfing trips are becoming better value for money.

The number of people purchasing new golf clothing could be set to see a boost after it was suggested that the prices of golfing holidays are on the way down.According to Your Golf Travel 's director of product Andrew Smith, golf trips "have never been better value".
He added that the firm saw a big increase in sales last year despite the economic downturn, which is "testament to the fact that golfers are willing to travel if the package is right".
And with such a wealth of options available for trips, it could be that players need a range of golf clothing depending on their destination.
Mr Smith stated that the company offers a number of holidays to Ireland, which might require a warm golf sweater or sturdy golf waterproofs.
Or fashionable golf shirts could become popular among those heading to hotter and more exotic and locations such as the Aroeira Golf Resort in Lisbon, Abu Dhabi Golf Club or Kruger National Park in South Africa.
