Golf is "hugely important" to entertainer Bruce Forsyth, who likes to pack his golf apparel and take active holidays.

TV star and entertainer Bruce Forsyth has said that having somewhere to play golf on holiday is "hugely important" as it "keeps him going".

Talking to the Telegraph, Forsyth noted that all he needs for the perfect break is beautiful scenery and good food.

As well as this, being near to a golf course is also important to the active star, who told the newspaper that at his second home at Dorado Beach, the golf course is very close by.

"I walk just 30 or 40 yards and suddenly I'm on the sixth fairway," he commented.

Whereas Forsyth's holiday interests could see him packing his case with various items of golf apparel, he also went on to say that he loves to read on holiday and always makes sure he takes a courtroom drama to read while abroad.

Those who enjoy packing their golf clothing and going on a break could consider visiting a golf course set to be built by billionaire Donald Trump in Aberdeenshire, which is in the process of being constructed.
