Golfers may wish to note that one professional has vowed to improve next year.

Glenmuir-sponsored professional Paul Lawrie has set himself several targets in order to improve ahead of next season. The Scottish player - who turned professional aged 17 and represented Britain in the 1999 Ryder Cup tournament - has noted on his personal website his disappointment at almost certainly missing out on the end-of-season Race to Dubai event due to his low order of merit ranking.
However, Lawrie - who wears a wide range of Glenmuir golf apparel while on the course - added that he is determined to enhance "all aspects" of his game in the coming months so he is "ready for 2011".
He went on to explain his deterioration in form in the second half of the season was primarily down to him being "poor mentally", but also focused on the positive that he feels he has improved his ball-striking ability.
This comes after Lawrie wrote recently that he was satisfied with his performance on the first day of the Hong Kong Open.
