A brand new course is set to be constructed in Turkey, which could leave keen players in need of alternative golf clothing.

New golf clothing could be required for those used to teeing off in Britain after it was announced that a golf course is set to be built in Belek, Turkey.According to European Golf Design (EGD), it will design a brand new venue in the region, which has been designated as an area for golf tourism by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism.
That means that people looking for inspiration on destinations for a golfing holiday may find that the nation is ideal.
In addition, the EGD - which also designed the Celtic Manor Twenty Ten course in Newport, Wales and the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club - revealed that the resort will contain residential units for sale, a boutique hotel and a sports academy.
Commenting on the news, Jeremy Slessor, the firm's managing director, said: "Accepting the invitation to participate in this project was one of the easier decisions we've had to make."
