Golfer Danny Wardrop says he has "no trouble" finding golf shoes that fit him despite his size 13 feet.Talking to the Manchester Evening News, Wardrop says that he struggles to find day-to-day shoes in high street shops.
"I've no trouble with golf shoes but everyday fashionable ones are a nightmare to come by unless you order them," he commented.
Wardrop finished 25th in the Australian Masters in Melbourne this year.
He said the tournament was a "massive eye-opener" and proved he was not a million miles away from achieving his goal.
The newspaper reports that Wardrop pegged up in the first of his two qualifying schools before flying to Thailand for an Asian tour.
Playing in extreme temperatures can increase the need for golf apparel which is designed to make players comfortable.
He is coached by manager Chubby Chandler, who he says suggested trying his luck on the Asian tour.
