The recent Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) UAE Golf Tournament may have seen some competitors in the event rushing out to find stylish golf clothing in which to look their best on the day. With 72 players from local companies all taking part and representing their firms, each one will have wanted to look their best and may even have opted for argyle golf apparel in an effort to outshine the rest of the participants.
Graeme White, the event organiser, described how there was a good turnout for the competition despite the challenging economic times being faced.
Kevin Carney from Davis Langdon will not have had to worry too much about his golf apparel, since he won the Chairmans Cup for his company, while Hill International took the Presidents Cup.
Mr White stated: "We would like to thank the main sponsors Hill International, along with the supporting sponsors VSH International and Macdonald and Company for their continued support of this event."
Rics was founded in 1868 and has about 100,000 qualified members globally.
