A golfer has explained that players' choice of golf clothing is very important.

Golf clothing is extremely important to a golfer, according to Tommy Armour III.The American, who currently plays on the Champions Tour, told Golf Week's Ashley Crain that he likes to keep his golf fashion "classy" and deliberately sets out his outfits about a week before a tournament.
He explained that this is because he feels it is always vital to "present yourself in a respectable manner".
In addition, when asked whether he believes he plays better on the course when he is looking at his best, Armour III said: "Do I believe in this quote? This is my quote! So, of course I believe in the theory. I was quoted saying, 'Look good, feel good, play good.'"
He added that he is thinking of wearing brighter-coloured golf clothing in the future - perhaps taking golf fashion tips from Ian Poulter.
Since turning pro in 1981, the American made 312 cuts in 613 events on the PGA Tour.
