Golf news: Glenmuir launches Autumn/Winter Collection 2009
Published: 20 May 2009
Golf apparel designer Glenmuir has launched its Men's Performance Autumn/Winter Collection for 2009.The launch sees the business unveil two of its newest technological developments - ThermoCool and CoolFlex - to extend its range of "smart fabrics".
At present, the firm has released 22 performance golf shirts for those interested in updating their wardrobe.
The men's knitwear in particular is attracting a lot of attention, as it offers weather-beating StormBloc technology and is 100 per cent machine washable.
And in other golf fashion news, Scottish golfer Alastair Forsyth recently told Scotland's Daily Record that he will not be changing his style of golf apparel despite calls for him to do so at the upcoming Irish Open.
Mr Forsyth was recently lambasted in the media for his conservative dress; however, he noted that it is not the trousers that make the golfer, but the man who wears them.
