When packing for a golf holiday, golfers could be wise to check the weather first.

One golfing fan has noted some of the best tips and hints for those who are packing golf clothing for a trip away.Writing for Your Travel Guide, one blogger said that before beginning to pack, checking the weather forecast of the area individuals are visiting could be worthwhile to a golfer.
The golfer said that should there be questionable conditions forecast, they will pack extra golf accessories such as shoes and golf gloves.
As well as this, golf items important for any trip include a golf bag and clubs, towels, golf shoes and a hat visor, he noted.
Other golf accessories which could prove a wise thing to take include an umbrella, tees and a ball marker.
The British Open began yesterday (July 17th) and with the often inclement UK weather, golf fans travelling to watch the action may have packed some waterproof golf apparel to wear while observing the play.
So far, Steve Marino is in the lead, hitting an average driving distance of 296.5 yards over the first two days.
