Golf trousers are quite capable of carrying a sponsorship message without the shouting seen in other sports.

Golf trousers can make a statement at a whisper, rather than a shout, it has been noted. The Explorer explains that golf clothing does not usually feature sponsorship as obviously as some other sports, such as NASCAR racing.
"But the names of financial giants and investment companies adorn nice threads and golf bags," the article adds.
An example given by the publication is that of Texas resident Rod Pampling, originally born in Australia.
His golf trousers feature the subtle message "Backed by Bayer" on the back, just above his pocket.
The statement, The Explorer points out, is far from the "sponsor yell" that other sports might permit.
While Pampling is helping to spread the name of Bayer, the company - which produces fungicides for keeping weeds under control on golf courses - is doing its bit for him too.
In summer 2006, following his success in the Bay Hill Invitational in March, Pampling was featured in the company's publication Bayer Golf Advantage.
