Golfers raise money for cancer cause.A group of golfers in Surrey have taken to the golf course in odd golf fashions to raise money for male cancer cause Everyman.

The Golf Grand Slam event saw players at the TopGolf driving range in Addlestone wear their pants or boxer shorts over their golf trousers, reports the Waltham Forest Guardian.

The range donated £10 for every golfer which donned their underwear as outerwear and in total, £800 was raised for the Everyman cancer charity.

Manager of TopGolf Chigwell James Jenkins told the source: "It was fantastic to see so many golf fans turn out for such a worthy cause.

There were some interesting pants on show too. Some looked a bit older than others."

Members of the TopGolf range in Addlestone, Croydon, also took part in the event.

Postman and golf fan Stephen Dale won a driving experience day, a meal and a hotel stay in a prize draw at the event.

He tells the Croydon Guardian that he was delighted with his prizes.
