Barack Obama regularly tees off in golf clothing.New golf apparel could be top of Barack Obama's wishlist after it was revealed that he has already played golf more times since taking office than his predecessor George W Bush did during his entire time in the White House.

According to statistician Mark Knoller, who works for CBS Radio, the current US president has taken to the fairways 32 times since being elected into the Oval Office in January 2009 - more than the 24 rounds played by Mr Bush in his eight-year stint.

However, in April last year Mr Obama was pictured practising his putting with vice-president Joe Biden dressed in a suit.

And it could be that the president is in need of new performance golf shirts or trousers in which to work on his technique and ensure he gets the most out of his golf in his spare time.

It was recently revealed that two-time Open Championship winner Padraig Harrington celebrated St Patrick's Day at the White House and left Mr Obama with a set of left-handed Wilson clubs.
