New golf gifts to hit the market include a charity jigsawA new jigsaw could be just the thing for anyone looking for golf gifts in the run-up to Christmas, it has been claimed.

The traditional game has been created by Warley Woods Community Trust in order to raise funds to support its management of a 100-acre patch of land in Smethwick, reports Halesowen News.

Manager of the Trust Viv Cole tells the news provider: "It will make a great gift for jigsaw lovers."

She adds that the details included in the image incorporate "the golf course in autumn - which will make it really challenging".

The design features elements of the area's natural beauty from the four seasons of the year, including a summer picnic scene.

With winter approaching, club grips could also make for popular golf gifts for the colder months.

Barry Wallis, performance and education manager for Callaway Golf, told the Observer in September that the autumn is the ideal time to check for cracked or shiny grips and ensure they are replaced ready for the next summer season.
