Veteran musician Kenny G has been praised for his sporting ability when he hits the links in golf clothing.

The saxophonist is better known for selling out worldwide tours for his musical ability, but he also has a handicap of zero, according to NESN.

Kenny G wore golf fashion as a youngster as part of his high school team and has played in Pro-Am contests before.

The online resource revealed that he even won the 2001 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when paired alongside world number two Phil Mickelson, who has taken home that title three times in total.

"Golf has become the universal game that actors and athletes alike pick up and, unfairly, also excel in," added the website.

Meanwhile, while Kenny G is out of his golf apparel and doing his day job of being an iconic musician, he has found the time to record a new album entitled Heart and Soul, which is set to be released on June 29th.
