Former England cricketer Allan Lamb has revealed that he likes to hit the links when he is on holiday, which means that golf apparel was a must in his suitcase when he went to a resort in the Bahamas.Writing for the Mail, Lamb revealed that he had a great time on vacation on a butler-serviced trip recently, even able to ask the man where he could change into golf clothing and hit a few balls.
The cricketer explained he was able to slip into his golf apparel to try out a Greg Norman-designed course nearby, with a golf pro called Bryan Morris on hand to offer tips on improving his swing.
He told the newspaper: "The back nine holes all overlook the ocean and are simply breathtaking, but pretty tight. If you don't hit straight you will be feeding the fish, and your balls will disappear at an alarming rate."
Lamb recently swapped his golf fashion garments for a chef's hat during a trip to Florence, as he learned how to cook in an Italian villa.
