Paul Lawrie could find himself in need of warm golf apparel despite swapping Scotland for Spain in the last week.Writing in his blog, the Scottish golfer - who was honoured with the Aberdeen Sporting Hall of Fame award at the Aberdeen Sports Village last Friday - revealed that he headed onto the continent with Scott Henderson, Graeme Lornie and Ross Cameron on Sunday (March 7th) to get some practise in.
However, he explained that he was surprised at how cold the weather was in the country - which may leave him in need of some argyle golf knitwear or lined sweaters.
But the 1999 Open Championship winner added, that he had been performing well while he was out there.
"We played 36 holes today and I shot 64, 61 playing some fantastic golf. I also holed some nice putts so hopefully the work I have done over the winter is paying off," he said.
