Golf player praised for her excellent swing.

Yahoo! Sports writer Brian Murphy has praised golfer Michelle Wie for her on-course performance.

He comments that she has "total watchability" and bags of charisma when she plays.

Pictured on the site in a pink golf skirt and matching golf hat, Ms Wie is also noted by Mr Murphy for her "flawless swing".

However, Mr Murphy comments that Ms Wie may not be as popular with others as she is with him.

"It is understood that Wie's transformation in the public eye from 2002-2009, from eye-popping, crowd-pleasing, 12-year-old talent to overpaid, winless "nearly woman"of today has brought with it her share of detractors," he says.

He says he finds it odd what it is about the player that angers people so much, commenting that it may be to do with people thinking that female golfers shouldn't compete against men.

The Pleasanton Weekly recently reported hat the Tee Party Girls Golf Club, who often wear black and pink golf apparel, are shaking things up in golf.
