Timberlake shows golf fashion credentials in interview.

US newsreader Katie Couric has conducted an interview with pop superstar Justin Timberlake on a golf course, commenting that his golf clothing was "stylish and hip" as they talked.

CBS News reports that Couric got "up close and personal" with Timberlake on the golf course and that he helped her perfect her golf swing.

Couric was dressed in casual golf clothing, in a change from her usual smart studio wear.

She wore a navy blue shirt which blended well with Timberlake's stripy top.

Both were successful golf fashion choices for their time teeing off.

Timberlake owns a clothing line called William Rast and Couric was treated to a look at the latest collection.

The Grammy award-winning star is well known for enjoying a game of golf.

He was recently seen on holiday in Mexico playing golf with actress girlfriend Jessica Biel, reports La Manga Spain.
