Several legendary Tottenham Hotspur football players were dressed up in golf apparel for a recent charity tournament at Broke Hill Golf Club.Leading the winning team was former Argentina international Ricky Villa, who will forever hold a place in Spurs fans' hearts for scoring the winning goal in the 1981 FA Cup Final replay against Manchester City.
The fundraising competition saw plenty of other big names from the world of football sport golf clothing for the day, including Ossie Ardiles, Steve Sedgley and Micky Hazard, who won the best individual celebrity score.
Commenting after the event, general manager at the venue Jon Pleydell said: "The golfers had a great afternoon on one of the hottest days of the year. We could not have asked for better conditions or a more convivial atmosphere."
Many of the players taking part in the tournament were also in the 1984 Uefa Cup-winning squad, which Spurs won 4-3 on penalties after the game against Anderlecht ended 2-2.
