Following his win in the Lawrence Bately Seniors, David Huish became the first double winner on this year’s European Seniors Tour when he closed with a 5 under par 65 to win the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open in Switzerland.

Glenmuir has now been appointed an official partner to the Golf Foundation - the charitable body which develops golf at junior level. In addition to this the company plays an important supporting role in the PGA's Game Improvement Centres which can be found at major tournaments such as the British Open Championship.
New Glenmuir Ambassador

Top lady golfer Mickey Walker joins the Glenmuir list of golfing ambassadors. Already helping the company promote itself 'At the Heart of the Game of Golf' are Tommy Horton and David Huish on the Senior Tour and 1999 Ryder Cup Captain Mark James. Mickey joins Lora Fairclough to represent Glenmuir in the ladies game.
Glenmuir Extends their P.G.A. Partnership

Glenmuir and the Professional Golf Association are finalising arrangements for The Millennium Glenmuir/P.G.A. Club Professionals Championship. This year’s Final will be played over the Dukes Course at St. Andrews. Architect Peter Thomson will be returning to the UK for the event. 135 Club Professionals will compete over 4 days in a 72 hole stroke-play tournament. Glenmuir have now sponsored the championship 8 times consecutively since 1993.
