Ryder Cup Team supplier Glenmuir has boosted its sales team with the appointment of Paul Reed as UK Golf Sales Manager. Paul joins the Scottish golf and leisurewear company from Acushnet, and brings with him a wealth of golf industry experience.
New Boxed Sets Merchandising from Glenmuir

Glenmuir have introduced new innovative boxed set merchandising to extend their in-store marketing. Customers can select their own choice of garments or choose from pre-selected sets. The clear polypropelene carrying cases and boxes are available in-store from November 2001.
Successful Defence for Glenmuir Ambassador David Huish in Switzerland

Scotland's David Huish became the first man to successfully defend a title on this season's European Seniors Tour when he closed with a second successive six under par 64 and then scored a birdie three on the first extra hole to defeat Australia's David Good in a sudden-death play-off at the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open at Bad Ragaz GC in Switzerland.

Seen extensively for the first time at The Open and at Glenmuir's recent Sales Conference, the fresh , modern promotional car will be widely used by Glenmuir at Retail Promotions and tournaments on the lead up to the Ryder cup at The Belfry.
Glenmuir Club Professional Championship Edwards Cruises to Title Win at County Louth

Simon Edwards (Carden Park, Cheshire) completed his domination of the Glenmuir Club Professional Championship when he toured the County Louth course in yet another sub-par score, 69 this time, for a winning aggregate of 275, 17 under par. The holder, Bob Cameron from Kent, ended his defence brilliantly with a closing 66, good enough to hoist him into runners-up position three shots behind.

Glenmuir Staff Ryder Cup Prize Draw

It's a busy time at Glenmuir just now, with the 2001 Ryder Cup fast approaching, and the new Glenmuir European Team Collection now out in the marketplace. That didn't stop staff being able to take a little time out recently, to take part in the companies Ryder Cup Raffle. Glenmuir Managing Director Graham Hayward drew out 12 lucky winners, with two staff members winning a ticket for one of the six Ryder Cup days at the Belfry.
Glenmuir Commit to Achieving 'Investors in People' Status

Finance Director David Cowan recently attended an Investors in People Awards Ceremony held by Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire on May 23rd. During the 'Celebration of Success Event' at Crutherland House Hotel in East Kilbride David, on behalf of the Directors and staff of Glenmuir, committed the company to undertake the rigorous audits required to achieve IIP status.
