Glenmuir Builds On Success Of Its Ladies Fashion Cotton Knitwear

Glenmuir’s new Ladies Fashion Knitwear

Lady golfers looking for lightweight, fashionable cotton knitwear will be impressed by two new sweaters introduced for the season by Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands.

The Ladies Fashion Cotton Knitwear collection in the Lanark, Scotland, company’s Spring/Summer 2010 range includes the new sleeveless ‘Cora’ and long-sleeve ‘Samantha’ designs.  

Both sweaters are manufactured from a lightweight, supersoft, breathable cotton which make them the ideal companion for layering with complementary products from the huge Glenmuir collection.

The ‘Cora’ slipover comes in a white base colour with an attractive diamond intarsia and pointelle raker design on the front body panel. It’s available in three colourways, White/Paradise, White/Lilac and White/Charcoal, sizes XS-XL and has a suggested retail price of £41.

For golfers looking for the increased warmth offered by a long sleeve sweater, the new ‘Samantha’ is also made from a supersoft, lightweight, breathable cotton and features a thin contrast stripe pattern on the torso.

The ‘Samantha’ is available in sizes XS-XL with an RRP of £45.25 and three colour choices – Paradise/White, Lilac/White and White/Charcoal.

“The new ‘Cora’ and ‘Samantha’ sweaters are lightweight and breathable and give lady golfers the versatility to layer their clothing to adapt for most conditions on the course, without feeling uncomfortable or restricted.”

Glenmuir’s Spring/Summer 2010 Ladies Collection features more than 260 product and colour combinations, giving fashion-conscious lady golfers the opportunity to select from co-ordinating polo shirts, performance shirts, fleeces, luxury lambswool, merino and cashmere knitwear, wind shirts, waterproofs, trousers, shorts, headwear and socks.

The company has introduced three carefully-selected new contemporary colour palettes for the season – ‘Blue Stone’ (three classic shades of blue combining with stone and white); ‘Lilac Haze’ (vibrant raspberry and lilac infused with black, white and stone);  and ‘Paradise Mist’ (three cool greys mixing with paradise blue and white) – which feature across its entire range.
