Glenmuir men’s and ladies’ Hi-Cool Polo Shirts
Glenmuir is building on the phenomenal success of its Performance polo shirts – featuring the top-quality Hi-Cool® moisture management system – with 10 new products for 2009.
The Scottish based company has introduced three new short sleeved polos to the Spring/Summer Men’s Performance collection – the Hi-Cool® Classic, Hi-Cool® Stripe and Hi-Cool® Sport.
And lady golfers will have a choice from seven new performance polos – the athletic, sporty-fit Joyce, Heather, Holly, Kat, Amy and Nina and the classic shaped Nancy.
All 10 garments are manufactured in 70 percent cotton/30 percent polyester jersey and boast the Hi-Cool ® Moisture Management System - outstanding fabric technology that delivers extra stretch performance while drawing moisture away from the body to keep the golfer dry and comfortable.
Lightweight, smooth and soft, they also offer the soft-feel handle that many players prefer to some other modern, all-synthetic fabrics.
The Hi-Cool® Classic, Hi-Cool® Stripe and Hi-Cool® Sport are designed in a neat athletic fit to enhance the performance of the technical, moisture-wicking fabrics and benefit from self-fabric anti-curl collars.
The Hi-Cool® Classic has an asymmetric contrast trim on the right raglan sleeve seam and cuff and contrast inner panels on the button placket. The polo shirt comes in six cool colourways – latte/white, white/apricot, ink/azure, white/ink, ice blue/white and white/stone.
The jetted zip neck Hi-Cool® Stripe is available in apricot with contrast stripes on the sleeves and front body, ink with azure contrast stripes and ice blue with white contrast stripes.
The Hi-Cool® Sport, which features contrast underarm panels and on the back, stitching detail on the sleeves, and contrast cuffs and concealed button placket, comes in apricot/latte, azure/ice blue and stone/white.
All three polos boast the prestigious Glenmuir 1891 logo embroidered on the right sleeve, come in sizes S-XXL and are available for the suggested retail price of £34.75.
The ladies’ Joyce, Heather, Holly, Kat, Amy and Nina feature up-to-the-minute designs and are in a shaped fit to maximise fabric performance and comfort.
Both the short sleeved Joyce and sleeveless Heather have a jetted zip neck, self fabric anti-curl collar and contrast colour panels on the front raglan and back body.
Joyce comes in peach/apricot, ice blue/azure, white/ink, latte/white, ink/white and white/stone, with Heather available in peach/apricot, ink/white and white/stone.
The short sleeved Holly has a contrast colour single button open placket, self fabric anti-curl collar and colour side panels. It is available in peach/latte, white/ink and ice blue/white.
The capped sleeved Kat has a single button placket and printed body with plain self fabric anti-curl collar, sides and shoulder panels.
The sleeveless Amy features a single button placket and plain body with printed self fabric anti-curl collar, sides and shoulder panels.
Both polo shirts come in peach/lemon sorbet/apricot/latte, ice blue/white/azure/ink and white/stone/ice blue and latte colourways.
The short sleeved Nina, with a jetted zip mock neck, contrast piping on the sleeves, body, zip placket and around the neck, comes in lemon sorbet/apricot, white/azure and ice blue/white.
The Nancy has short sleeves, an open v-neck and self fabric collar, plain raglan sleeves and diamond print design on the body panels. It is designed in a classic fit to balance the needs of fashion, comfort and performance and comes in lemon sorbet/peach, ice blue/azure and white/latte colourways.
All seven ladies’ garments feature the renowned Glenmuir ladies’ logo printed on the right side above the hem and are available in sizes S-XL.
The Joyce, Heather and Holly are available for a suggested retail price of £32.50, the Kat, Amy and Nina for £34.75 and the Nancy for £31.50.
Andy Bough, Marketing Director of Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, said: “At this year’s Ryder Cup we produced a range of shirts for the European Team to cope with heat and humidity – and we’re delighted to be offering this level of performance and technology to regular golfers too.
“Our new colour schemes are also cool and contemporary, with something for the fashion-conscious as well as the more conservative dresser.”
