Glenmuir Ladies’ Collection Features Eight New Products For Autumn 2009

Glenmuir Autumn/Winter ’09 – Ladies Collection

Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, has introduced eight exciting new pieces for lady golfers in its Autumn/Winter 2009 collection.

With a huge range of more than 250 product and colour combinations now available, fashion-conscious lady golfers need look no further for co-ordinating polo shirts, performance shirts, fleeces, luxury lambswool, merino and cashmere knitwear, wind shirts, waterproofs, trousers, shorts, headwear and socks.

Glenmuir launches its Autumn/Winter 09 Ladies’ collection with three new colour palettes – ‘Black Jack’ (winter white, black, stone, silver and garnet), ‘Autumn Fire’ (using winter white, tan, espresso, black and fire red) and ‘Blue Tones’ (ice, azure, navy, ink and white).

At the forefront of the Glenmuir Ladies collection are five stunning new lambswool sweaters, two merino acrylic zip-neck sweaters and a fantastic new wind shirt.

Scotland-based Glenmuir’s Ladies Fashion Lambswool Knitwear range sees the introduction of machine washable, lightweight lambswool with the distinctive and contemporary designs of Julia , Theres , Victoria , Nathalie and Hannah sweaters.

The v-neck Julia, in a shaped fit, features an attractive diamond raker intarsia design on the front and is available in three colour combinations – black/winter white, navy/ice and tan/espresso.  

For lady golfers looking for a splash of colour in a zip-neck style, the Theres has a smart diamond raker intarsia design on the left sleeve only, and is available in winter white/light grey/ black/garnet, ice/navy/azure/white and espresso/fire/tan/winter white; while the Nathalie uses a simple diamond design on the front panel and comes in winter white/black, ice/navy and espresso/tan colourways.

Glenmuir has introduced a gorgeous zip-front lightweight lambswool cardigan, Hannah, with narrow horizontal stripes across the front in three colour choices – black/winter white, ice/navy and winter white/tan.


Finally, round-neck contemporary chic comes via the stunning Victoria sweater with its diamond raker intarsia front-panel design,  available in a shaped fit and three colour options – black/winter white/ light grey, ink/ice/white and winter white/fire/tan.

Lady golfers looking to wrap up extra warm this Autumn/Winter will appreciate Glenmuir’s new Teflon-coated Caroline and Emily Ladies Lined Sweaters, in washable merino acrylic.

The Caroline features a windproof stretch performance lining for enhanced movement and comfort, contrast colour panels on side, sleeves and inner neck and comes in black/winter white, ice/ink and tan/espresso colours.

The Emily features a lightweight windproof lining, raised self-colour diamond design and double cuffs and welt. A choice of four colours is available – black, ice, tan or fire.

Glenmuir completes its new winter line-up with the exceptional Windflex Stretch , which forms part of a four-product Ladies Storm Bloc Wind Shirt range.

With golfers looking for increased movement and less bulk from their outerwear, the Windflex Stretch combines Teflon coating with a lightweight lining to deliver outstanding weather and stain protection.  

Other key features include low-profile zips at centre front and pockets, a back ventilation flap, soft-touch fabric and three colour combinations – winter white/black, ice/navy and fire/black.

Other Glenmuir Ladies’ Collection updates
The existing Glenmuir Ladies’ collection has also been comprehensively updated to incorporate the new colour palettes.

In the popular Ladies Shaped-Fit Shirts range the 95 per cent cotton and 5 per cent elastane Sophie now comes in 15 colours including new ‘Winter White’, while the sleeveless Mallow is available in 12 options. The Carnie sees a new ‘Fire’ colour added and is now available in 10 shades, while the roll-neck Hayley adds ‘Ice’ to a six colour choice.

A growth in popularity of its Ladies Performance Polo Shirts sees Glenmuir introducing new winter white/fire and black/winter white versions of the Joyce shirt, featuring the outstanding Hi Cool moisture management system, and new winter white/black in the sleeveless Heather version. The long-sleeve Linn and single-button Holly also receive colour upgrades.

A new ‘Tan’ colour has been added to the raglan sleeve crew neck Sundridge and raglan sleeve v-neck Brunton Ladies Classic Lambswool Knitwear while in the Ladies Fashion Cotton Knitwear Collection, the Fiona, Paula, Jackie and Audrey all benefit from exciting colour updates.

In the 100 percent Luxury Scottish Cashmere & Merino Knitwear collection black/winter white, ink/white and winter white/tan have been added to the colourways of the diamond intarsia design Innes crew neck shaped fit sweater, and winter white, fire and black to both the Ness crew neck classic fit sweater and Roslin high button classic fit cardigan designs.

The Elgin v-neck sweater and Ailsa v-neck slipover – both from the 100 percent lightweight fine merino wool range – see ‘Winter White’ added.

A colour transformation takes place in the Ladies Rain Bloc Waterproof System range, with new colours available for the Rain Bloc Flex , Rain Bloc Shell and Rain Bloc Zip while in the Ladies Storm Bloc Wind Shirts the Storm Bloc Gilet , Storm Bloc Ace and Storm Bloc Par all benefit from exciting new colour combinations.  

Elsewhere, the popular and practical Frances stretch A-line skort has been colour updated and is available in black, white, navy and latte choices, while the Grace trouser has a new ‘Tan’ option and the Simone a new ‘Silver’ choice.
