Twelve New Products and a Riot of Colour Heralds New ‘Glenmuir Ladies Collection’ for Spring/Summer 2010

Glenmuir Spring/Summer 2010 – Ladies Collection

Glenmuir has introduced 12 exciting new pieces for lady golfers in its Spring/Summer 2010 collection, making it one of the largest-ever from the leading golf apparel brand.

A huge range of more than 263 product and colour combinations will be available this coming season, giving fashion-conscious lady golfers the opportunity to select from co-ordinating polo shirts, performance shirts, fleeces, luxury lambswool, merino and cashmere knitwear, wind shirts, waterproofs, trousers, shorts, headwear and socks.

At the forefront of the Glenmuir Ladies’ Collection are six new shirts and six new cotton sweaters, slipovers and cardigans.

Scotland-based Glenmuir launches Zoe and Stephanie shirts in a new Bamboo Shaped Fit Shirts range, Madelaine and Michelle in a Mercerised Shaped Fit Shirts range, and Rebecca and Amanda in a Coolflex Performance Shaped Fit Shirts range.

Environmentally-friendly bamboo charcoal mixes with polyester in the Zoe performance polo giving the product outstanding moisture absorption and anti-bacterial qualities. It’s available in three colour choices with contrast colour panels, piping and inner button placket.

Meanwhile, a sustainable bamboo blend is used an alternative to cotton in the Stephanie shirt, making it breathable and stretchable with a great soft feel. The striped shirt has an extended four-button placket and is available in three colour combinations.

Featuring mercerised combed cotton pique for lustre and a soft luxurious drape, Madelaine is white with contrasting birdseye collar and cuffs in a choice of paradise blue, blue, raspberry, lilac, black or alpine pink. The solid-colour Michelle, in a 2/70s combed cotton jersey, comes in six colours: paradise, blue, white, lilac, black and alpine pink.

The Coolflex fabric combines lightweight stretch cotton with a durable moisture-wicking finish and has been used in the Performance Shaped Fit Shirts’ Rebecca and Amanda for the first time.

Rebecca features contrast body and side panels piping, while Amanda features princess seams on the front body panels to enhance the shaped fit, with additional seam detail on the centre back and an extended five-button placket.

Glenmuir’s Ladies Fashion Cotton Knitwear range is a perennial favourite with lady golfers looking for style and value and this season welcomes the Cora slipover, Jocelyn and Samantha sweaters, Gabrielle zip-neck sweater and Jennifer and Alison cardigans.

Each product is manufactured from fabulously soft cotton, making them light and breathable, and is available in sizes XS-XL, and has a distinct style characteristic.

Cora features a gorgeous diamond intarsia with pointelle raker design; Jocelyn has deep cuffs and welt with cable and rib detail; Samantha has a fine, horizontal striped body and plain sleeves; Gabrielle has a front panel featuring a contrast dot jacquard; Jennifer has contrasting details on the sleeves, body and zip while the Alison is its sleeveless sister.

Glenmuir has introduced three carefully-selected new contemporary colour palettes for the season – ‘Blue Stone’ (three classic shades of blue combining with stone and white); ‘Lilac Haze’ (vibrant raspberry and lilac infused with black, white and stone);  and ‘Paradise Mist’ (three cool greys mixing with paradise blue and white) – which feature across its entire range.

Other Glenmuir Ladies’ Collection highlights
The existing Glenmuir Ladies’ Collection has also been comprehensively updated to incorporate the new colour palettes.

In the Ladies Rain Bloc® Waterproof System range, new colours are available for the Rain Bloc Flex, Rain Bloc Shell and Rain Bloc Zip while in the Ladies Storm Bloc Wind Shirts the Windflex Stretch, Storm Bloc Gilet, Storm Bloc Ace and Storm Bloc Par all benefit from exciting new colour combinations – with lilac and paradise blue playing a key role.

The Mia Ladies Performance Fleece co-ordinates across the entire collection in Paradise/white, Lilac/white and Black/grey mix colours.  

The Brooke skort has three new colours - blue, lilac and paradise - while the Frances skort is available in six colours, including new stone and paradise versions. The ever-popular Darvel Capri pants add lilac and paradise to its colour choices.
