Here are three simple things that could be ruining your swing… Not warming up You won’t be able to enjoy a full, powerful swing if you haven’t warmed up properly. As well as a proper session of stretching – as much as 30 minutes, if you have the time – you should be hitting balls as part of your pre-round routine, working up from short irons to drivers. As well as loosening up your body and lowering the risk of injury, warming up in this way can tell you how your body is feeling on that day – for example, if you have stiffness from sleeping strangely. |
