What’s going to be hot on the fairways of Britain this season?

By now, you’ll have your kit sorted and refreshed, and will have maybe even gone as far as to have hit the driving range or dusted off the pitching net to iron those kinks out of your swing. Now it’s time to concentrate on your wardrobe.

With the winter blues banished and warmer days on the horizon, we take a look at the fashion trends for this year.

What’s hot for men…

What will the guys be sporting at the 19th hole this summer?

Zip it up

Taking inspiration from 90s sportswear, zip-up tops were big on this season’s catwalks.

This is great for golfers as it means you can easily and quickly adapt to the changeable British weather by throwing on a wind shirt on a blustery spring day, or a classic zip neck sweater to tackle the chill.

Knits with shorts

Fashion designers are starting to come around to the reality that British summer doesn’t necessarily mean warm weather, with many decking their models out in a combo of smart shorts along with a more relaxed knitted jumper.

A relaxed merino jumper is the perfect choice to keep you warm on those long summer evenings, and is breathable enough that you won’t start to sweat if the weather warms up.

Polo necks

With 70s style still big this year, expect more and more men to bring their polo necks to the high street - and the fairways and clubhouses as well.

Not only are they super smart and stylish, but they add a layer of warmth when you need it.

What’s hot for women…

How will the ladies be dressing as they hit the greens and fairways this season?

Think pink

Pink is back in this season in all its various shades. From pastel to shocking, pink is the go-to colour for those aiming to make an impact.

Go all out with a hot magenta pink or opt for something subtler like our more pastel candy pink.

Ditch the sleeves

It’s all or nothing with sleeves this year. And while the 70s style favours full-length flowing sleeves, the more practical among us know that going sleeveless is the only option on a hot fairway in July.
