Glenmuir extends PGAs of Europe sponsorship

Glenmuir, the leading European golf clothing company, has extended its sponsorship of the PGAs of Europe International Team Championship (ITC) for a further two years up to and including the 2009 event.

The Scottish based company will continue to sponsor the prestigious tournament featuring up to 36 teams, which takes place in December at Roda Golf & Beach Resort Hotel, Murcia, Spain.

Glenmuir will also support, once again, the 2009 PGAs of Europe Teaching & Coaching Conference (TCC) to be staged for the first time by the PGA of GB&I.

Speaking at the 2007 PGAs of Europe TCC in Malmo, Managing Director Colin Mee commented: "Glenmuir's commitment to the sport of golf, to the industry, and to PGA Professionals around the world means that we enjoy a position at the heart of the game of golf. In welcoming the renewal of the arrangement with Glenmuir, Ian Randell, the chief executive of the PGAs of Europe, said: "Glenmuir's commitment to professional golf is greatly appreciated by our member countries and their individual members. The fact that more than half of the teams in the ITC will be wearing Glenmuir clothing is an emphatic statement about the quality of their products.
