The Lanark, Scotland based company will be the official provider of shirts and knitwear
to the GB&I Walker Cup Team and GB&I PGA Cup Team as both sets of players seek
victory over the USA - the former in Southampton, New York and the latter at De Vere
Slaley Hall, Northumberland.

The very best of Britain and Ireland's amateur golf talent will wear Glenmuir when the
Walker Cup is played on Sept 7 and 8 at the National Golf Links of America, with
England's first US Amateur Champion for 102 years, Matthew Fitzpatrick, spearheading
the side's defence of the trophy.

In the landmark 40th anniversary of the PGA Cup at Slaley Hall on Sept 20-22, Glenmuir
will be worn proudly by a GB&I side including former European Tour player, Benn
Barham, the current Glenmuir PGA Professional champion, Dan Greenwood, and former
champion Gareth Wright.

Glenmuir managing director, Colin Mee, said: "There have been some truly inspirational
team performances in the recent Solheim Cup and last Ryder Cup and Curtis Cup, so
hopefully the PGA Cup and Walker Cup teams will be able to draw on that.

"It would be incredible if the sides won and effectively gave us a grand slam of the most
prestigious team championships in professional and amateur golf - although it will be an
extremely difficult feat to pull off."

As the preferred supplier of shirts and knitwear to the European Ryder Cup Team,
Glenmuir's support of this September's events too demonstrates its longstanding
position as a premium golf brand operating right at the heart of golf.

Added Colin: "It's always a busy and exciting time for the Glenmuir staff when we get big
team events running so close together. The attention to detail has to be spot-on for the
players, captains and assistants and officials, so there's a collective sigh of relief when
the final crested clothing is shipped successfully.

"But, of course, we take great delight in knowing the very best players from these shores
are wearing Glenmuir in the cut and thrust of very high-profile golf."

Meanwhile, Europe's best boy golfers all competed for the Jacques Leglise Trophy
wearing Glenmuir - as the Lanark-based clothing company supplied both the competing
GB&I and Continent of Europe sides.

GB&I were aiming to win back the trophy at Royal St David's, but their under-18
European opponents recorded a fine 13½ to 10½ victory.

Said Glenmuir and Sunderland managing director, Colin Mee: "I suppose as official
provider of shirts and knitwear to both teams we were in a win-win situation as we
definitely know the victorious side would be in Glenmuir.

"But it's not about that, of course. Our aim was to provide the same kind of support,
through the professionalism of the teamwear, that is enjoyed by those at the very top of
the game, notably the European Ryder Cup Team.

"Both sides in the Jacques Leglise Trophy are made up of the cream of boy golfers and
it's likely that some of them will follow the footsteps of Sergio Garcia and Luke Donald
into the Ryder Cup.

"We think having co-ordinated teamwear of the highest performance levels sets a dress
standard early on for these young players and helps them to really understand and
appreciate team golf."

Glenmuir has been at the forefront of the golfwear industry since 1891. Based in Lanark,
Scotland, the company has taken this outstanding pedigree and unveiled a stunning
collection of men's and ladies' knitwear, shirts and weather wear for 2013.

Glenmuir is a brand right at the heart of golf. Preferred Supplier to The European Ryder
Cup Team for over 25 years, Glenmuir enjoys partnerships with numerous organisations
including the PGAs of Europe, The PGA, VisitScotland and EventScotland.
