Innovation Inspired By 125 Year Heritage, Glenmuir Launch Autumn Winter 2017 Collection

Glenmuir’s Autumn Winter 2017 Collection is built upon three colour stories. The Luskentyre Sunset story incorporates Garnet, Navy and White to create a fresh elegant palette of classic colours. Balmoral Thistle features a vibrant Royal Purple colour that particularly accentuates the range of bright performance fabrics and new ladies’ tropical print designs. Finally, Applecross Peninsula is a fresh colour story inspired by the lavish Scottish landscape, Spring Green and Navy are complimented with a crisp White and soft Stardust Marl throughout the range.

MEN’S COLLECTION PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Performance Midlayers and Windshirts – The brand, whilst staying true to its core product offering of natural performance, have taken inspiration from their heritage launching a range of high performance midlayers including g.Eltham and g.Caledonia which features Glenmuir’s signature Tartan details made from technical stretch fabric with moisture wicking and thermal properties with enhanced breathability. Other options include g.Artemis which comes in 100% premium cotton interlock with a contrast zip placket offers a natural performance choice. Glenmuir offer a comprehensive range of soft-shell Wind Shirts (g.Bosworth, g.Kew, g.Aragon, g.Dimbleby). Glenmuir’s signature StormBloc 3-layer fabric is technically advanced - stretch, lightweight with a waterproof and breathable membrane with drawstring hems, adjustable cuffs, zipped pocket and lockdown zip pullers ensure functionality and protection on course.

Luxury Touch of Cashmere – Introducing another beautiful natural yarn to Glenmuir’s knitwear range, a 90% merino 10% cashmere midweight zip neck (g.Wessex). This sumptuously soft luxury sweater compliments their other lighter weight touch of cashmere knitwear which are available in a selection of vibrant colours and soft muted tones.

Lambswool Blend Performance Sweaters – New styles in naturally hard-wearing but soft and breathable yarn. Enhanced performance due to Glenmuir’s Nano-Technology Bionic finish, making the products water and stain repellent. Designs include a contemporary intarsia (g.Middleton), elegant birdseye with mock suede placket (g.Adonis) and a classic cable sleeve zip neck (g.Apollo) all an ideal choice for the gentleman golfer.

Lined Sweaters – Essential for the AW17 season, Glenmuir’s lined sweaters are offered in a variety of colours and styles. New for AW17 is a merino blend zip neck sweater (g.Lloyd) featuring an elegant self-colour argyle pattern - lightweight but warm, and movement is unrestricted thanks to the stretch and breathable lining. As with all of Glenmuir’s lined sweaters, the addition of their Bionic technical finish gives the added benefit of water and stain repellency ideal for the golf season.

Winter Trousers – Lightweight but warm thanks to the fleece backing of Glenmuir’s new winter trousers (g.Ashurst) are perfect for cold days on the course.  A water repellent Teflon finish gives enhanced protection and the stretch fabric allows full range of movement.

LADIES’ COLLECTION PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Lambswool Blend Performance Sweaters – Stunning new styles in naturally hard-wearing but soft and breathable yarn. Designs include a contemporary zip through cardigan with textured ottoman stitch shoulders (g.Oceana) and an elegant dogtooth pattern zip neck (g.Chelsy).

Lined Sweaters – Essential for warmth and style in the AW17 season, Glenmuir offer two styles for AW17 which incorporate a stretch jersey lining, which is comfortable and soft. A Scotchguard finish helps repel stains and is moisture wicking. Designs include a zip through cardigan with striped inner collar (g.Shelley), and a stylish contrast birdseye stitch design zip front sweater (g.Luella).

Luxury Reversible Gilet – This gorgeous padded gilet (g.Demelza) will keep you warm on and off the course. Fully reversible you can choose between the woven rip stop outer for added protection when the weather threatens a shower or the wonderfully soft fleece for an opulent look. High shine silver trims are the finishing touch.

Performance Windshirts – A comprehensive range of ladies’ windshirts all of which give exceptional weather protection thanks to Glenmuir’s signature StormBloc 3-layer fabric, which incorporates a waterproof, breathable membrane and a water repellent finish for added performance. Continuing for AW17 are g.Selma and g.Karlie in a delicate embossed abstract outline floral design.

Winter Trousers – Glenmuir’s hugely popular winter trousers (g.Talia) made from a technical fleece backed, stretch fabric gives warmth and comfort on cold days on the course, while diamante rivets, silver lurex icon embroidery and seam detailing on the back pockets all make this a truly stylish choice.
