The company's superb Dolphin clothing helped Sunderland to be named ‘Waterproof Supplier of the Year’ by Foremost Golf members at gala dinner ahead of the show - making it a five-time winner in consecutive years.

Brian Mair, Sunderland marketing director, said: “The Dolphin is a specially-made product for our green grass trade professionals, so for us to be recognised in this way by them demonstrates its superb performance and popularity - especially among club golfers.”

Redesigned for the new season, the Dolphin jacket benefits from ‘wishbone’ technology and a three-year manufacturer’s guarantee, making it one of the best value waterproof garments available today.

Andy Martin, Foremost Golf company director, said: "Our members are constantly looking for products that not only deliver exceptional performance but also enable them to maintain good margins and this is why the Sunderland Dolphin suit is so highly regarded."

BBC Presenter Andrew Cotter presented the Foremost award to Glenmuir's Graham Hayward (Sales Director) and Brian Mair (Marketing Director).
