Sustainable Performance and Natural Fibres for Spring Summer 2021 Collection

Glenmuir, the Scottish golf clothing brand, launches its Spring Summer 2021 collection (SS21) with vibrant colours Magenta, Spring Green and Ascot Blue with a focus on sustainable performance fabrics and natural performance.

Scotland, June 2020: Glenmuir, the Scottish golf clothing brand, launches its Spring Summer 2021 collection (SS21) with vibrant colours Magenta, Spring Green and Ascot Blue with a focus on sustainable performance fabrics and natural performance.

Superior Performance polo shirts are made from active fabric which is highly functional with moisture wicking technology delivering breathability, +40 UV protection, thermoregulation and enhanced freedom of movement. White Marl/White and Garnet Marl/Navy are new colours now available in style g.Campbell, whilst White/Light Grey Marl and White/Tahiti are a sophisticated addition to the micro stripe style g.Torrance (both RRP £45). For Ladies’ the favourite classic performance polo shirt g.Paloma sees the addition of Light Grey Marl, the marl yarn adds depth whilst looking clean and crisp, this colour is also available in the men’s complimentary style g.Deacon making it the perfect option for teamwear (both RRP £40). 

Glenmuir are pioneers in golf clothing in natural fibres which are renewable and environmentally friendly. Brand new for SS21 are Men’s cotton knitwear styles g.Drummond, g.Garrion and g.Balloch made from 100% pure combed premium cotton from renewable sources. g.Drummond incorporates a traditional herringbone intarsia with a contemporary twist using bold contrast colour blocking, whilst g.Garrion and g.Balloch are sporty colour blocked designs combining bold colours and beautiful marl yarns. g.Willa and g.Gaelle are fabulous new ladies’ knitwear styles. g.Willa has ribbed details across the shoulders and sleeves with subtle contrast tipping detail whilst g.Gaelle combines sparkling rhinestones with a sporty colour blocked collar and cuff (all RRP £70).

The midlayer and padded collection has an extremely exciting new offering combining performance with pattern. Performance midlayer g.Wick has a contemporary Navy Camo pattern with Light Grey trims whilst a traditional Tartan print option gives a nod to Glenmuir’s rich Scottish heritage. g.Wick is made from active functional fabric with moisture wicking yarn delivering thermoregulation, breathability and enhanced freedom of movement (RRP £65). Brand new for SS21 is padded Storm Bloc.® performance gilet g.Sheil. Available in 3 colours; Navy, Black and Light Grey Marl, g.Sheil is made from a combination of a performance water and wind resistant outer and heat insulating down which retains body warmth. Textured stretch side panels add enhanced freedom of movement (RRP £75).

Glenmuir’s 2-layer Storm Bloc.® Waterproof Jacket for men g.Elrick is also now available in a Navy Camo/Light Grey option. The lightweight technical jacket is made from a soft touch interlock fabric which is quiet and enhances freedom of movement with its 4-way stretch properties. In addition, the technical fabric is highly waterproof, windproof and breathable creating a modern playable outer layer choice (RRP £80).

Performance shorts g.Keble sees a vibrant Ascot Blue introduced (RRP £50). Made from active functional fabric with moisture wicking yarn including a silicone grip tape waistband and deep scorecard pocket, these shorts would look great teamed with g.Murray in Light Grey Marl/White/Ascot Blue or a fresh White g.Deacon performance polo shirt.

Glenmuir also have a variety of new gift box sets. The g.Ben gift box contains 3 pairs of golf socks with a geometric jacquard pattern and half cushioned foot (RRP £13). The g.Archie gift box for men and g.Catriona gift box for ladies contain a warm jacquard bobble hat and coordinating neck warmers and will be available for the winter and Christmas 2020 gift season (both RRP £30).
