Tour Boost for Glenmuir

Glenmuir, the leading Scottish golf and leisurewear brand, has expanded its pool of Tour Professionals for 2002. The company has been represented for many years on the European Tour by European Ryder Cup Captain Sam Torrance and former Captain Mark James, and both players have recently extended their relationship with Glenmuir.

In addition to these two ambassadors, Spanish players Juan Carlos Aguerro and Diego Borrego are this season sporting Glenmuir's distinctive diamond logo on the European Tour, along with French Open Champion Malcolm MacKenzie and John Bickerton. On the European Seniors Tour, Glenmuir has renewed its relationships with David Huish and Tommy Horton, and has added Russell Weir to this illustrious pair of ambassadors. Denis Durnian, Eddie Polland and Dennis O'Sullivan are also wearing Glenmuir clothing this season.

In the ladies game, respected teacher and broadcaster Mickey Walker represents the company again this year. Glenmuir's Sales & Marketing Director, Andy Bough, commented on the announcement, "We are very proud to have maintained close relationships with all of the players who have represented us on the Tour's. These players have made a significant contribution to the game of golf, and are excellent ambassadors for the Glenmuir brand."
