GLENMUIR: PROUD TO BE PART OF THE RYDER CUP
Glenmuir is extremely delighted to have been a part of the 2018 Ryder Cup at Le Golf National, France which saw a hugely victorious Team Europe regain the cup from the USA.
As an Official 2018 Ryder Cup Licensee, Glenmuir was excited to be a part of the hustle and bustle of the tented village at the championship course in Paris, with a huge range of Official Ryder Cup merchandise.
OLÉ, OLÉ, OLÉ
Despite Team USA hotly tipped to win the 2018 Ryder Cup and even getting off to a strong start winning three out of the four Friday morning fourballs, Europe claimed the overall victory at Le Golf National, finishing seven points ahead of the European team.
After winning only one match on the first morning of play, Team Europe went on to win all four Friday afternoon Foursomes. Carrying strong play over to the second day of the tournament, Team Europe managed wins in five out of eight matches on the Saturday. A new dream team was formed in the pairing of England's Tommy Fleetwood and the 2018 Open Champion, Italy's Francesco Molinari - dubbed "Molliwood" - who won all four of their matches in the first two days.
With seven wins and one match halved in the Sunday singles, Europe won back the Ryder Cup, finishing with 17½ to USA's 10½ points.
