Designed exclusively by Glenmuir for the victorious 2014 European Ryder Cup Team at Gleneagles, in conjunction with Captain Paul McGinley, this iconic zip neck sweater embodies the pinnacle of golfing heritage, modernity, and pride. The cross is intarsia-knit, meaning the design is fully integral to the sweater, knitted smoothly for a refined look. Made from 100% combed cotton, this men’s jumper has a soft, easy next-to-skin feel without the irritation some other yarns can provoke, so you can just be comfortable and concentrate on your game. Glenmuir products are fabulous quality and are a perfect addition to any wardrobe.
TL; DR: Yes, I fully recommend, top quality across and very functional while being a garment that can be dressed up or down. Quality: While cotton may sound bland, this is really great quality and it is obvious Glenmuir thought this design through. This particular garment is the CLASSIC SALTIRE with navy and white with the Scotland Six Nations logo embroidered. The actual feel is amazing and even gives one a rather posh feeling. Presentation: Yes! I only get compliments on this piece. FIT: I have two of these, XL for laying or perhaps wearing shirt / tie underneath and one in L for cutting around on my own or with the chaps. Either could be . For context 45 chest 33 waist and I can wear either of these. Have worn both with tartan trousers for the links, for casual, and with a kilt. Fully recommend!
I would offer that this sweater is top quality, the sizing is true to form and as advertised. Truth in lending, I am a 45 through the chest, the XL is generous and roomy if one wants underlayers even a shirt and tie if that is called for, the L is more form-fitting -- hopefully that adds context for the prospective buyer. I bought the dark blue version and it is beautiful, very well-crafted and designed, the Saltire just the ubiquitous ensign of Scotland. Fully recommend -- Alba gu brath!!
Good quality product. Only problem is that the delivery of this product should have a parcel tracking number sent in an email when purchased. Missed delivery by Post Office first time but had to wait on second delivery, as the tracking number was on the card left at first delivery. Could have been at home for first delivery if I had tracking number.

Positives. The service was quick and efficient. The sweater was ordered for my husband’s birthday. As expected he liked the design and the fabric. Golf attire is difficult to purchase as it needs to fit comfortably. I chose an inaccurate size and therefore need to return the sweater. However my husband loves the fabric, it’s weight and comfort.
Quality of fabric and design are beautiful. Bought my American son in law a medium his normal U.S. size. It wad too small. Had to purchase a large. Think that could be something to consider. But the sweater is beautiful, comfortable. Customer service is top notch.

As I’m tall, I phoned Glenmuir to ask if they could tell me the length of the body of the sweater. I received a return phone call within 15 minutes telling me exactly what I wanted. A great sweater and fits perfectly! Great customer service all round.

Love it everything about the sweater except for the fact that the tab on the zipper at the neck broke off it’s still possible to raise and lower the zipper without it, but that shouldn’t happen

Bought as a gift for golfer husband. On arrival, the fabric was thinner than expected and particularly for the price. Fit was good although not generous for size. Nice and warm though. After one wear (round of golf) the seam came away at the left shoulder. It was small enough that I could repair it but it was disappointing that this should happen after only one wear. Won't purchase again.
