However, he toned down his golf clothing for the first round of the competition yesterday, choosing to wear white golf trousers and a navy blue t-shirt.
Former world number one Donald had a disappointing start to the 2013 season and will be hoping to get his form back at Oak Hill. He missed his first ever cut in a European Tour event at the Maybank Malaysia Open and missed the halfway cut at the 2013 BMW PGA Championship.
He did however record his first top ten finish at a US Open tournament when he finished tied for eighth at the Merion Golf Club earlier this year.
