Players will be able to pull on their golf clothing to tackle waterfalls, a replica of the Great Wall of China and even a giant noodle bowl on the 18-hole fantasy course.
Large fans have been incorporated into the design, which buffets players with strong winds as they approach one of the par-3s.
Another par 3 hole requires the player to make a choice between aiming for a tiny island green surrounded by lava or laying up to a volcanic mound, which feeds the ball through a pipe to safety on the green.
"Unlike mini-golf on artificial grass, the fantasy course is played at full-scale with standard equipment on real turf," Brian Curley, of Schmidt-Curley Design, said.
"Other regulation courses frame holes with trees, bunkers and lakes; this course will incorporate many unique visuals while still requiring players to execute full shots and hole putts."
The Haikou based resort already boasts 10 golf courses, with the Mission Hills group boasting a further 12 on its estate between Shenzhen and Dongguan.
Players rushing to pull on their golf clothing and tee-it-up on this unique course will have to wait until it opens next year.
