Golf pros will be packing their golf clothing and heading to Madeira in 2013.
Summery golf clothing will hopefully be the order of the day when the European Tour heads to the Madeira Islands next year.
The event is back on the schedule and will be played between May 16th and 19th, the same week the World Match Play Championship will be in Bulgaria.
It will be hosted at the Santo da Serra for the 18th time.
António Henriques, President of Club de Golf Santo da Serra, said: "May is the month of the flower festival which celebrates Madeira's natural beauty, so it is a perfect time to visit the island."
Portugal's Ricardo Santos holds the Madeira Islands Open title currently having won in 2012 and his presence is expected to attract interest.
Santos' victory made him only the second Portuguese player after Daniel Silva to win on The European Tour.
"The fact Ricardo has been named Rookie of the Year will serve to increase the excitement as we look forward to next year's renewal," the tour's chief operating officer Keith Waters said in a statement on Tuesday.
