US Masters
The first of this year’s four major championships takes place over the second weekend in April and will be the 83rd edition of the Masters. Like every year, this year’s tournament will take place at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Tiger Woods, who has four Masters wins under his belt, will be hoping to continue his encouraging 2018 form and add to his collection of titles.

USPGA Championship
Usually the fourth and final major of the year, following a revamp of the golfing calendar this year’s USPGA will be held in May – to stop the tournament from clashing with the start of the NFL season. This year’s tournament will be held at Bethpage Black Course on Long Island, New York, which has previously hosted the U.S. Open. Brooks Koepka won last year, posting a 72-hole PGA Championship record of 264 as he finished ahead of runner-up Woods.

U.S. Open
The 119thU.S. Open heads back to California this year, taking place at the stunning Pebble Beach Links Course for the first time since 2010. Last year, Koepka won his second straight U.S. Open title, finishing one stroke ahead of the UK’s Tommy Fleetwood. Golf fans will be curious to see whether the American can make it three out of three, or if a non-American can win the coveted title for the first time since 2014.

The Open
The Open Championship heads over the North Channel this year to Royal Portrush in County Antrim, the first time the tournament has been held in Northern Ireland for almost 70 years. In 2018, Francesco Molinari became the first Italian to ever win a major by posting a bogey-free final round at Carnoustie, holding off pressure from home-favourites Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy.
