Hull produced a stunning 5&4 victory over Paula Creamer in Sunday's singles to help Europe on their way to a record-breaking 18-10 victory over the US at the Colorado Golf Club.
"She was on my junior team two years ago and she's just a special girl," Neumann said.
"She has a special game and she brings a lot of energy to our team and she's just a terrific player."
Hull, who only turned professional in March, became the youngest player in Solheim Cup history after Neumann selected the Kettering-born player as one of her captain's picks.
Despite the record-breaking achievement Hull is set to return to competition this week when she will pull on her golf clothing at the CN Canadian Women's Open in Edmonton.
