Patriotic golf trousers for Daly

John Daly showed off his patriotic side in some star spangled golf trousers.

US golfer John Daly showed he is patriotic to the core after modelling a pair of golf trousers patterned like the US flag.

The sportsman, who is well known for his outlandish golf clothing, teamed the trousers, which featured one blue leg patterned with white stars and one red and white striped leg, with a blue t-shirt and a red belt.

Irish star Padraig Harrington also hinted at his national pride in a green t-shirt, but it was really Daly stole the show in terms of golf apparel.

They are not the first outlandish trousers the golfer has been seen in since jetting off to Hong Kong for the tournament.

Sticking to his red, white and blue colour scheme, the pro wore some diamond patterned trousers with a clashing orange t-shirt last week and has also been photographed in some red and white checked trousers and a pair of black and red houndstooth trousers.
