Glenmuir wearer, Paul Lawrie reaches career-high position in rankings

Scottish golfer, Paul Lawrie continued the fine form he has shown throughout 2012 by finishing as a joint runner up alongside Justin Rose in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The Aberdonian – a proud wearer of Glenmuir shirts and knitwear – shot up to 29^th in the Official World Rankings, making him the highest ranked Scottish golfer for the first time in his career.

Lawrie’s performance also means that he now sits at 2^nd place on the European points list (the top 5 of which qualify for a place in the European Ryder Cup team).

The Scotsman was recently honoured ahead of the Volvo World Matchplay to mark his 500^th European Tour appearance.

He has been on fine form in 2012, winning the Qatar Masters back in February and getting off to a great start at Augusta in April.
