Poulter takes six mins to get ready

Ian Poulter says that it takes him under six minutes to pull on his golf clothing and get ready.

Ian Poulter's golf clothing may always look immaculate, but the sportsman has admitted he only takes about six minutes to get ready in the morning.

Speaking at a press conference in China, the Ryder Cup star said that he had taken just over five minutes to get ready that morning.

"Quick shower, ruffle the hair up and out the door," he added.

The rather bizarre press conference then saw Poulter being asked which of his Ryder Cup teammates was the most muscular and most handsome, with Ian highlighting Lee Westwood's muscular frame and saying that Martin Kaymer is the best looking member of the team.

However, it seems that the team have a lot of work to do in the style stakes, with Poulter saying that he could not pick anyone out as 'most fashionable'.

"No, none of them can dress," he added.

Perhaps, it's time for the pros to invest in some new fashionable golf shirts?
