Martyn Williams has been taking golf lessons at former Ryder Cup venue Celtic Manor, in a bid to improve his game.
The former Wales and British Lions international rugby union player said he's been inspired by players who have turned their hand to something new after retirement.
"I look at former players like Gareth Edwards and how his love of the sport has developed and I would like to do the same and maybe get out onto the course three or four times a week," he told the Westren Mail.
"I am taking lessons at the Celtic Manor and I just hope I can improve."
He added that former Welsh rugby union player Tom Shanklin is also taking lessons, joking that he hopes he can keep up with him.
