The Spaniard pulled on his golf clothing on Sunday at the Amata Spring Country Club four shots ahead of Stenson at 18-under-par.

Stenson closed the gap to two-shots after reaching the turn three-under-par for the day, but Garcia replied with three birdies in a row from the 10th to restore the four-shot advantage.

Stenson narrowed the gap to three following a birdie at 14, but couldn't find the momentum to challenge the Spaniard's lead.

Garcia pared his final two holes to set an insurmountable 22-under-par tally in the clubhouse.

"I knew Henrik was going to make it difficult for me. He's been playing so amazingly great, and he did," Garica told the Asian Tour official website.

"He kept hitting good shot after good shot. And then when I bogeyed seven, I had to make a good par save on nine after getting a bit unlucky with the approach shot. And then I made three very important birdies on the first three on the back nine and gave myself a little bit of a cushion."

Frenchman Alexander Levy finished in third place at 14-under-par following a final round of 69, while Justin Rose finished in a tie for fourth alongside Charl Schwartezel, Yuki Kono and Anirban Lahiri at 13-under-par.
