The 14-time major champion has been struggling with a back injury, so it remains in question whether he will pull on his golf clothing for the competition.
At a news conference on Monday he didn't rule competing out altogether.
He said: "For Augusta, it's still a little too soon (to know), to be honest with you.
"That's kind of the frustrating thing about this. I had a couple weeks off, was getting treatment and trying to get ready for Augusta."
The competition tees off on April 10, so Woods still has a little time to rest up and recover.
He recently had to pull out of the Honda Classic in the final round due to injury, but persisted to compete at the WGC-Cadillac Championship days later.
