The world number one wore a red golf shirt with black trim, black golf trousers and a black cap as he claimed his 79th PGA Tour victory.

Woods began the final round seven shots clear of the field at Firestone Country Club after following his stunning 61 on Friday with a 68 on Saturday. He finished seven shots clear of defending champion Keegan Bradley and Sweden's Henrik Stenson at 15 under.

Tiger's run of good form will stand him in good stead as he heads to the US Open, the last Major of the season, which starts on Thursday.

He hasn't won a Major since 2008 so will be looking to end his five year drought with a victory.

And it seems he is feeling confident.

"I'm really looking forward to it. I feel like my game is pretty consistent. That's one of the things I've noticed this year is that I have hit it pretty good most of the year and weeks I've putted well I've been able to win so it's been pretty good so far," he told CBS.
