Glenmuir Challenge

Glenmuir staff and customers enjoyed a fun packed day of adventure, courtesy of our friends at HRC Events, with sports including Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Quad Bike Riding and also the exciting 'Argo Cat'. The Aim of the Game - 4 teams competing against one another at 4 different challenges to see who's the best and come out on top.

For starters, everyone headed to the 'beer tent' (with no alcoholic beverages) for a light refreshment before the fun kicked off. The amphibious monster of the 'Argo Cat', unusually difficult to control but even worse when blindfolded. However I can confirm that the driver had it easy rather than running along behind it. You would have thought that following a course of cones on a flat patch of grass would be easy but some people just didn't know left from right! And with a step back to medieval times archery was the name of the game. William Tell we weren't but with a little bit of expert help we did manage to hit the bull's eye.

The pigeons were safe that day whether they be clay or real. Crack shots we weren't but great fun was had by all. It proved to be a close event, however, there always has to be a winner and that fell to the victorious Brookline team. Congrats to them all!!!
